Bigger projects
Need more, like online booking, a shop or lots of pages? I can build that too. It costs more, and I always price it first. If I think your site is a bigger job, I email you a fixed price before I start, so you know exactly where you stand.
Hosting is optional
If you want me to host and look after the site, it is a set monthly amount, the same every month, agreed in writing before anything starts. If not, you can host it wherever you like.
Things people ask.
Is the preview really free?
Yes. I build it before you pay anything. If you do not want it, you owe nothing and I delete it.
Who will I be dealing with?
Me. R Websites is one person, a sole trader in the UK. I build the site, I make the changes and I answer your emails.
What counts as a simple site?
A handful of pages, such as home, services, about and contact. If yours needs more, I tell you the price before you agree to anything.
Can you build something bigger?
Yes. Booking systems, shops and larger sites cost more. I always email you a fixed price before I start, so nothing is a surprise.
What are SEO and AEO?
SEO is making your site easy for Google to understand and show. AEO, answer engine optimisation, does the same for AI assistants like ChatGPT and Google's AI answers, which many people now ask instead of searching. I build every site with both in mind. Nobody honest can promise you the top spot, but a site built properly gives you a real chance.
Do I have to pay monthly?
No. Hosting is optional. If you want me to host and look after the site, it is a set monthly amount, agreed in writing first.
Will my email keep working?
Yes. A new website does not touch your email. I only change where your web address points, and only when you say so.
Who owns the site?
You do, once it is paid for.
