Who you are dealing with

R Websites is run by JP Ralph, a sole trader in the UK. Contact: [email protected].

The free preview

I build a private preview of your new site at no charge and with no obligation. I may use the text and images from your current site, and anything you send me, only to build it. If you do not go ahead, I delete the preview and your files within 30 days.

Price and payment

The price is agreed in writing before you pay. Simple sites are from £500, as shown on the pricing page. Bigger projects are quoted as a fixed price before I start. You pay once, after you have seen the site and want to keep it. I put the site live when payment is received. The invoice says how to pay, and is due within 14 days.

Changes

You can ask for changes to the preview until you are happy with the pages we agreed. If you ask for something outside those pages, such as a new section, a shop or booking, I will tell you the price before I do it.

What I need from you

You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, the text, logo and photos you give me. I am not responsible if material you supply infringes someone else's rights.

Ownership

Once you have paid in full, you own the site I built for you. Before payment, I keep all rights in the preview and you may not publish or copy it. Third party items such as fonts or stock photos keep their own licences, and I will tell you if any apply.

Hosting and care (optional)

If you choose hosting, it is £20 a month, agreed in writing before it starts. It covers hosting, security updates, small text and photo changes, and fixes if something breaks. Your domain renewal is separate and is paid by you at cost. You can cancel with 30 days' notice. If you host elsewhere, I hand over the site files and tell you what you need to do.

Domain and email

Your domain stays registered in your name. I only change where it points, and only when you say so. I do not touch your email setup.

Results

I build every site to be fast and easy for search engines and AI tools to read. I cannot promise any ranking, traffic or number of enquiries.

If something goes wrong

If the site has a fault that I caused, I fix it at no charge. My liability is limited to the amount you paid me, except where the law does not allow a limit, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Refunds

You see and approve the finished site before you pay, so payments are non-refundable. Before you pay, you can stop at any time and owe nothing. This does not affect any rights you have by law.

Law

These terms follow the law of England and Wales.
